| Balaji & co supplies inductive proximity switches. The main application of this sensors are to identify the presence of metal objects, measurements, position sensing, counting, etc, without any contact with the objects. It has good durability and it also ensures maintenance work also. Its operating principle is inductive proximity generates high frequency alternating field, at the active face by the oscillator circuit. When any metal object is brought into the field, it causes oscillation to stop. Hence, the demodulated voltage, feeding the disappears. For dc switches, the trigger operates rapidly when oscillation stops. This trigger switches the o/p. Npn/pnp transistor to drive an electronic circuit or relay. For ac switches, it triggered when oscillation stops. This thyristor is connected in series, with a bridge and this series combination connected to the ac load. Inductive proximity switches is used in automobile industries, steel industries, packaging industries, material handling equipment, process automation, ic machines, conveyor equipment, etc.
