These types of power supplies find their application in control panel of continuous running machines, power plants, chemical plants, fertiliser plants, etc, where stoppage of plant result in big loss. These power supply systems are available with voltage rating of 24 v and current rating of 10, 15, 25, 40 and 50 a. Some of the special features of these power supply systems include: highly reliable power supplies run in parallel, redundant mode. In the event of single power failure, other power supply will continue to supply full load. The hot-swappable arrangement makes it possible to replace faulty power supply without stopping the plant or machines. |
