• Add to Inquiry Basket | Frigmaires engineers basket mill combines the process of premixing, dispersing and grinding in a single operation. The basket mill holds the grinding media and is immersed into the process tank containing the charge material. On starting, the bottom blade begins dispersing and pumps it into the grinding chamber containing the media. Inside the chamber, the material is subjected to high shearing and attrition forces created by the combined effect of the hardened milling discs and grinding media. The material then exits from the bottom of the basket through a screen assembly. This process is repeated a number of times until the entire product passes through the grinding chamber and is uniformly processed. The basket mill saves time, makes optimum use of power,maintains continuity of process, is easy to clean, and allowsquick product change. Some distinct features of the basket mill are explosion proof construction, vacuum arrangements and separate cleaning tank. |
