Silicaflex tape ab is a high temperature protection for hoses & cables distributed by elektromag which is supplied in a tape form for the convenient wrapping of hoses, cables and pipe. They have the following salient features:
The silicaflex tape ab is coated on one side with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing.
Silicaflex tape ab`s pressure sensitive adhesive decomposes at high temperatures, leaving an installed, tape wrapped hose, cable or pipe.
Silicaflex tape ab is said to withstand 982deg.C continuous and short term exposure up to 1650 deg.C.
Silicaflex tape ab is supplied in widths of 50 mm and 102 mm.
