These abrasive sleeves[bands] & band holders which are also popularly known as spiral bands are constructed of spirally wound abrasive paper of special structure with interlocking base cloth giving these sleeves an outstanding flexibility to work in difficult contours/profiles. These sleeves come with salient features such as mounted on a serrated rubber holder which expands when rotated thereby tensioning abrasive sleeves and increasing tool resilience giving operator extreme flexibility for contouring intricate profiles/cavities in dies, moulds, components, etc and imparts high degree of finish/polish utilising its full width and guarantees equal grinding giving a uniform chatter free and burr free surface. The abrasive sleeves provided by the company are applicable in finishing/polishing of plastic and forging moulds/dies, spot welds, cast parts, welded joints, pipe ends, machined components, etc. These abrasive sleeves can also be used on steels, stainless steels, hastalloys, titanium, whs, and non-ferrous materials. These abrasive sleeves [bands] & band holders are useful for applications like pneumatic grinders, high speed electric grinders and flexible shaft grinders which have rpms between 40,000 to 7,000.
