Powerail enclosed conductor system is used for safe mobile power feeding of: overhead cranes, monorail systems, electric hoists, automated storage and retrievel systems, electric power tools, machine tools, assembly and test lines, hanger door motors studio and station lighting systems and many other operations. These powerails need the minimum of space, are easy to install, cannot corrode and need no maintenance. The unique construction offered automatic alignment of the copper conductors and the rigid pvc housing is developed to obviate any accidental contact and hazard to personnel. Vahle powerails completly meet all vde safety requirements, complying with the protection code ip 23 per din 40050. Powerail kslt and mks can be outfitted with neoprene sealing strip "d" [ip 24] or with pvc shielding "fp". Current collectors are made of reinforced polyester fibre-glass and duroplast, for high strength and light weight. Spring loaded carbon brushes maintaining variable contact connecting cables or terminal boxes and hinged or variable towing arms consist. Double collectors for transfer applications and higher amperage.
