| Nagman lnstrument & eiecctronics, in collaboration with pressure- ments ltd, u.K., supplies a complete series of deadweight testers. The series covers a wide range of pressure and vacuum for various applications. The deadweight testers come with very high standard identical piston assemblies with certified accuracies traceable to national physical laboratory, u.K., and nist, u.S.A. The deadweight testers are the primary standard used worldwide for accurate measurement of pressure. The stability, repeatability and accuracy provided by the deadweight tester are unmatched. The tester is suitable for calibrating pressure gauges, transducers, transfer standards, recorders, digital calibrators, etc, and can also be employed to measure directly the pressure in systems and processes where precise readings are vital. For better performance of the testerwell proven piston gauge system, consisting of a vertically mounted precision lapped piston and cylinder assembly, is used. The piston, which moves up freely within its cylinder, is loaded with precisely calibrated masses. These weights balance the upward force generated by the use of pressure within the system. The deadweight testers are supplied in various models and ranges from 0.03 bar to 4000 bar and different accuracies down to 0.005 % of reading.
