The Pulse Transformers are designed for coupling pulses generated by one electronic circuit to another, while ensuring adequate isolation between the two. The Pulse Transformers also perform the function of a buffer and coupling between the two circuits. The rise time of pulses being of the order of a few micro seconds, it is of prime importance that the "squareness" of pulses be maintained during the transformation action.
