| Spm [india] offers brake shoe adhesive test rig. The brake shoe adhesive test rig is formulated to test the bonded brake shoes and lining assembly for shear/adhesive strength of rivet/adhesive. The hardware specification pf the test rig comprises hydro pneumatic press to shear the lining from the brake shoe, a digital programmable load indicator, a heating oven to carry out high ambient tests and a conveyor line connecting oven and press for better component handling. The brake shoe of the rig is positioned on round pin and diamond pin and rested on rest pads. The compression springs support the shearing tool on two guide rods at either ends. The shearing tool is carried by the pneumo hydraulic power pack till it touches the brake lining from brake shoe. The inbuilt load cell measures peak load and the value is displayed on the dro. An adjustable time delay performs the changeover from rapid approach to power stroke. By adjusting the pneumatic pressure regulator, the force can be varied infinitely. The approach speed of the test rig may be regulated infinitely using pneumatic flow control valve. The basic test rig machine is attached to the load cell along with signal conditioner and peak detector to determine the force absorbed by brake shoe during the test.
