• Add to Inquiry Basket | Husaini engineers provides chlorine gas leak detector that has an electrochemical sensor embedded in it for detection of pure chlorine gas and the unit uses a 230v ac power supply. This detector can be utilized in water treatment plants to maintain the level of chlorine within permissible limits which otherwise can be toxic and can even corrode metals like aluminium. The detector has a variety of features like: direct digital read out in ppm [parts per million] on the 7 segment led display, the unit could be safely installed in hazardous areas, it can continuously monitor the gas level, the unit has a response time of less than a second, the electrochemical sensor has long life, output of the recorder is in the range of 4 to 20 ma, the unit is easy to maintain and calibrate, the unit detects only chlorine gas and hence there is no cross sensitivity to hcl, so, nh etc. Which prevents false triggering of the alarm, the detector has an optional battery backup , the set point of the alarm can be adjusted over a wider range [from 0 to full]. The company also offers a panel mounted or portable model of the detector. Operating and instruction manual, electrolyte bottle accompany every unit of the detector. The main industries that find application of the detector include: acid, alkalies and dye manufacturing plants, caustic soda plants, municipal water works, paper mills, water treatment plants, refineries, chlorination plants, swimming pools, power stations & cooling towers and pvc manufacturing plants. The detector weighs approx. 5kg and can be mounted on the wall; also the company offers chart recorder for recording the output on a chart, extra cable for long distance applications, calibration kit, etc. As optional accessories. |
