Printchem has introduced epoxy based lacquer, kleair-kote. Kleair-kote is transparent and colourless. This is used for aluminium labels, drum and can coating and other varnish use. It is available in 3 parts: lacquer, thinner and binder, all of which are mixed and coated. It incorporates the best advantage that it cures at 120°c in 15 to 20 minutes and offers resistance to common solvents. This lacquer can be roller coated or sprayed. Cured plates will be clear, transparent and glossy in appearance.
