| Crown electric company manufactures worm reduction gearboxes. These gearboxes come with iso specifications. A comprehensive range of the worm reduction gearboxes is easily available. Specifications of the worm reduction gearboxes manufactured by the crown electric company: reduction gear units are manufactured in different sizes. The worm reduction gearboxes are manufactured according to adopter types as well as to solid foot mounting types. These gearboxes can transmit minimum 0.05 hp and maximum 90 hp with selection of correct sizes. These worm reduction gearboxes are normally available in reduction ratio of 5:1 to 70:1. The worm is solid with shaft made of high grade alloy steel. This ensures duly case hardened and super finished hard wear resisting surfaces. Technical features: the bearings and oil seal journals are accurately and cylindrically ground to give smooth running. The worm wheel is made of centrifugally cast phosphor bronze rim shrunk and keyed on cast iron center block on bigger unit and solid casting for smaller units. A gear hobbing machine is used to hob the teeth. Gear housing is made of close grain graded cast iron. The ball or roller bearings are used in worm wheel with ample capacity so that it can take journal and thrust loads.
