R mansukhlal & co, a mumbai-based organisation, has introduced different models of precision micro boring heads; universal boring and facing heads; mini borers, micro boring bars and micro bore units. These are available in various sizes and cutting tool configurations. Micro bore units fit into standard micro boring bars. A micro bore unit is made up of few parts and is strong. It can take heavy cuts or face to a shoulder. A cone angle of metal-to-metal contact provides rigidity.These micro bore units have 0.002 mm divisions on vernier graduated diameter. Spare micro bore cartridges are also available. Also available are indexable insert type micro tools, boring rings, boring ring adaptors, micro boring bars with various tapers such as iso, mt, bt, and cat.
