| Rm offersmanufactures quick action collet chucks for centre lathes. These quick action collet chucks for centre lathes are mounted on the lathe by means of a flange just as a true chuck is mounted on the lathe. The four sizes are available of these collet chuckscollet chucks are available in four sizes, which are viz, c-25 [takes traub a-25 collets], c-40 [takes c-40 threaded collets], c-42 [takes traub a-42 collets], and c-60 [takes traub a-60 collets]. The workpiece is clamped with a positive grip. This workpiece is having and with very high accuracy. Opening and closing of the collet is by a single lever. Opening and closing and can be done while the spindle is running which saves , thus saving 50% to 80% of idle time.
