chemicals for engraving of nickel perforated screens. The range includes following chemicals:
photo emulsion: - type stovec 1101 [hand coating or machine coating emulsion] / stovec 1195/ stovec 2000. This chemical is made light sensitive by addition of sensitiser and is then used for applying coat on the screen by either hand coating or machine coating for the purpose of exposing design to be printed on textile fabric.
retouching lacquer: - type stovec 1102. This chemical is used to cover pinholes on the screens particularly during the printing operation. This chemical is of self-drying nature.
stripper: - type stovec 1103. This is non-toxic chemical. It is used to strip the design exposed on screen so that the screen can be taken up for reuse. The stripped screens can then be exposed with another design for printing on textile fabrics.
endring remover: - type stovec 1104. This chemical is used for softening the glue layer applied for fixation of endrings. It thus facilitates removal of endrings from the screen before it is subjected to stripping. The operation is done at room temperature.
degreaser: - type stovec 1105. For application, it is diluted with water in the ratio of one part degreaser : four parts water. Treatment of screen with this diluted solution makes the surface of the screen free from dirt and grease. This helps in getting even layer of light sensitive photoemulsion on the screen.
screen cleaner: - type stovec 1110. This chemical finds it application during the process of cleaning the screen after the printing process and before its storage for future use. It facilitates cleaning of the mesh on the screen so that the possibility of chock up during printing is minimised.
