The Sunseal Induction Inners Seal consists of a layer of duplex board / backup material, a layer of wax, aluminium foil duly laminated to heat-sealable polymer that is compatible with the bottle material and capable of sealing to the lip of the container. This multi-layered liner is placed inside the closure and capped on the container. When the container is passed through an electromagnetic field produced by the induction sealing machine, the aluminium foil heats and melts the wax layer which is absorbed into the duplex board and the polymer coating melts, hermetically sealing foil laminate to the mouth of the container
