Nippon india supplies a compact, easy to use ac semiconductor motor controller. With this controller, a 3-phase motor with nominal load current of 25 a, can be soft-started and/or soft-stopped. Starting and stopping time as well initial torque can be independently adjusted by the built-in potentiometer. Some of the salient features include
1. Rated operational voltage up to 600 v ac, 50 hz;
2. Potential-free control input;
3. Led indication for power supply, ramping, by-passing relay, phase sequence and over heating; self-protection against over heating; optional relay output for ramp and overheating alarm;
4. Built-in transient over voltage protection; and, integral by-passing of semiconductors.
Dielectric strength is 2 kv ac rms. The unit has ce and ul approval, and emc according to en-50 082-2. Typical application: motor controller, conveyor system, elevator door control, ohc, etc.
