Ifm electronics introduce of temperature sensors, which has models that permits control monitors to be mounted remotely from the sensor probes. Remote monitors mounting caters perfect solution where space at the sensing site is restricted, and also p ermit the monitors integral 7-segment display to be conveniently positioned for easy inspection. The new range includes tt probes, which are offered in standard length of up to 500 mm and type ts probes, which have complete connecting cables. These probes are complemented by differently mounted type tr control monitors. Type tt probes comprise a platinum resistances-measuring element mounted within the body of a stainless steel probes. Type ts sensors have 47.5 mm probe with an integral 2-metre or 5-metre conncecting cables. Type tt sensors operate over and temperature range of -40 to 125c, while ts sensors cover the range from -40 to +150 c. All ts and tt probes have 10 mm diameter type 316 housing and accessories are availabel to facilitate mounting in different types of standard thermowell. Both the tn integral sensors and tr separately mounted versions incorporated 7-segment displays which provide continuous readout of temperature.
