Cobalt and tungsten carbide alloys are part of those products. It is a metal tube filled with medium size fused tungsten carbide [ftc] developed for mmaw applications. This electrode can be applied by alternating or direct current. It is trouble free, once the proper machine setting is obtained. This alloy is used in low alloyed steels [cast steels], with a maximum carbon content of 0.5 %. Cobalt and tungsten carbide alloy can be used also for hard facing tools and machine parts that experience wear in mining, excavation, well digging, road construction, dredging and deep drilling etc. |
