| Shree engineering co, authorised representative of hunting park engineering ltd, uk, offers a range of forged butt welding fittings manufactured by their principal. The company has invested heavily in mandrel forging facilities over the past few years. It is now able to offer a comprehensive range of mandrel forged bends. Mandrel forged elbows are produced by hot expanding tube over an internal mandrel. The simultaneous expansion and bending is controlled to give equal wall thickness and bore sizing throughout the bend. Both seamless and seam welded tube are used. In the latter case the weld is always located at the extrados of the elbow. After forging, all elbows are solution annealed and welds 100% x-rayed. These are available in different sizes in various wall thickness, in material grades: stainless steels 304, 316, 321 and duplex steels 31803, 32760 and 32550. The complementary range consists of equal tees, reducing tees, concentric reducers, eccentric reducers and caps.
