| Deckel maho, germany, manufactures universal 5-sided 5-axis simultaneous machining system, dmu-50 v, which allows five aided and five axis simultaneous machining for aerospace components, medical and surgical products, mould and die machining in a single setup. The rock-solid swivelling rotary tale provides fourth and fifth axes for faster positioning and outstanding precision. The advanced capabilities of the design enable more productive machining of complex jobs. The guiding areas are above the cutting areas, thereby protecting the guideways from dust, chips and foreign particles. The machine has spindle speeds up to 15,000 rpm with rapid speed and feed rate up to 30 m/min. It is empowered with integrated spindle motor of 15 kw. The machine is in the category of high speed cutting that allows the hard metal cutting up to 60 hrc. The minimum axis travels available are 500/380/380 mm for the x, y, z, respectively.
