| Shreeram engineers has introduced ball valves, 143 series. It has modular construction of 3-piece to suit a wide range of applications and pressures up to 500 bar. This series is easily maintained in online applications by removing three body connector bolts and loosening the fourth one by which the body can be swung away using it as a fulcrum, for maintenance operation. Thus the valve need not be removed from the line, reducing maintenance downtime to a bare minimum. The mirror finished ss floating ball is held between pre-compressed ptfe seal and slots for a leak-tight fit at both positive and negative pressure. The bottom entry blowout-proof stem with malleable casting cranking lever offers maximum safety, designed according to bs 5351 standard, and tested as per bs 5146 or api 598 standard. These valves come in astm a 105, forged ss 304, ss 316, mild steel and brass materials, with socket weld and butt-weld or extended nipple end connections.
