Rathi transpower has introduced lovejoy india brand highly flexible couplings, type hy. The main features of hy-flex couplings are:
- torsionally soft coupling;
- an industrial coupling having varying stiffness characteristic;
- no need of lubrication;
- versatility of application - can be used with shaft to shaft or can be used with shaft to flange arrangement;
- low initial and operational cost;
- smooth power transmission;
- compact size; and effective damping of vibrations.
This is the most ideal coupling for shaft to flange arrangement such as diesel engine and pump. The rubber elements are offered to high quality control standards.
