New bharat electricals manufactures a wide range of dc motors. They have standard ratings from 0.25 hp to 20 hp with standard speeds with variable construction parameters. Specifications: the motors come in frame sizes 80 to 160, in dc 220 to 440 v. The performance of these motors conforms to is 4722 and bs 2613/1970. Temperature rise is within 45°c [ambient]. Materials used for construction: the stator body is made from fabricated mild steels. Stampings are made from crngo type. The commutator is made from super quality electrolytic copper segments insulated from one another by mica. The armature windings are impregnated with synthetic resin and a high dielectric strength varnish. End shield covers are made from cast iron with proper machining. The ventilation system of these motors is screen-protected, drip proof [spdp] and totally enclosed [te]. External force cooling is provided with blower-mounted motor.
