These flameproof motors are tested and certified by central mining research station, dhanbad for group ii-a, ii-b locations. These ac flameproof motors can be manufactured for special environments, such as outdoor location [ip55 type] indoor tropical humidity, outdoor tropical humidity, indoor tropical arid, outdoor tropical arid, indoor tropical, outdoor tropical and outdoor middle class chemical corrosion locations. Some general features of these ac flameproof motors include: mainly intended for use in hazardous environments in chemical and petrochemical industries. Following are some of the constructional features of these ac flameproof motors include:flameproof enclosures consist of study cast iron parts which are mechanically robust and very liberally designed. Cast iron enclosure of the motors is built to withstand any internal explosion. The gaps of the joint and where the shaft passes through the flame are so dimensioned as to prevent transmission of igniting flame to the surrounding atmosphaere. Some of the special features include compact construction, lightweight, attractive, appearance, safe and reliable operation life, excellent performance and easy maintenanc. The output rating and mounting dimensions conform to the specifications of iec standard. |
