This generator provides mixture of hydrogen and nitrogen produced by ammonia cracking on nickel catalyst at 850 c temperature. It is widely used in heat treatment furnaces. External heating is required for ammonia cracking. This generator is provided with molecular sieves purifier to minimize residual ammonia content. The capacity of the generator various from 1 nm3/hr to 1000 nm3/hr. It come with following salient features:

Catalyst retort is made of heat resistant alloy, which can withstand up to 1150 c operating temperature. Retort life is around 10 years.
