| Dijet industrial company ltd, japan, offers hosoi drills for high productivity, supplied by worldwide industrial distributors. They greatly reduce machine time using high speeds and feeds, and eliminating centre drilling operation. In steel, speeds of 70 m/min and feeds of 0.35/rev are possible. They produce holes with quality dimensional tolerance, surface finish and quality positional tolerance. They eliminate hole milling and reaming operations in many instances. Oversize conditions at less than 0.2% of drill dia [maximum oversize 0.04] and surface finish in the order of 1-3 m is obtained. They eject short, easily manageable chips overcoming the swarf problems on unmanned machining systems. Tin coated by pvd method, greatly increases the drill life. They leave very small burrs, and give very long tool life even on difficult to cut materials. Recommended to drill hard metals, excellent surface finish to the tune of r max 3 can be attained by these high performance dijet hosoi drills.
