| Ringspann gmbh, germany, offers a wide range of compact and reliable industrial disc brakes for industrial applications which have various functions such as a parking brake prevents unintended start of stationary shaft; a stopping brake brings a rotating shaft to standstill in short time, even when in connection with power failure or emergency stop and a control brake maintains a certain tension in the material. In any position brake callipers or brake saddles may be arranged on disc brakes of varying diameters. The brake torque can be increased without enlarging the installation dimensions at any extend by using several brake callipers on the same disc. These industrial brakes come with an electric wear indicator and with automatic wear adjustment. The salient advantages of these industrial disc brakes are asbestos free friction blocks, swivel mounted friction blocks for ensuring full face contact on the brake disc and surface areas protected against corrosion. The company brings 6 mm, 12.5 mm or 25 mm thickness up to 520 mm diameter industrial brake discs. The company also supplies several other products such as indexing, overrunning, backstopping and irreversible clutches, cone clamping, torque limiters, precision clamping.
