| Abbott air systems manufactures axial flow fans with cylindrical casing as fabricated out of mild steel sheet with adequate sizes for fine clearance as per is-3588 standard. In the simple form of unit, air approaches the impeller in axial direction and leaves a rotational component due to work done by the impeller torque. The axial flow fans leaves air with absolute velocity higher than axial velocity. Cast aluminium impeller with six blades and seven blades of aerofoil section run inside the casting with fine clearance. The company also provide axial flow fans with variable pitch impellers to maintain the pressure and capacity of air. The impellers of these fans are directly mounted on the motor shaft but can be supplied with v-belt drive and the motor fitted out side the casting. These axial flow fans come with statically and dynamically balanced impellers to avoid vibration and minimum wear tear of running parts. Motors fitted in axial flow fans are to standard makes like kirloskar, gec or ngef [3 phase, 415 v ac 50 hz tefc] or flameproof motors in special cases.
