| Amis engg works offer equipment for slitting the powder bags on bottom through a motorized slitting saw and thereby feeding the powder into the reactor. The main components are fabricated structure duly powder coated with 2 toughened glass doors and 3 toughened glass fixed windows for viewing operation; a 3-phase motor driving the ss 316 slitting saw directly at 3,000 rpm; 4 pneumatic cylinders for closing the bag inlet door, clamping the bag, pulling the bag over slitting saw and bottom door for empty bag disposal. The paper-laminated bag is fed manually into the system through inlet door. The operator then presses one button and automatic sequence starts. First the inlet door closes pneumatically giving signal to clamp the bag and then the slitting saw motor starts. After a little delay the motor picks up full speed and then the bag hanging on trolley is pulled over the slitting saw by a pneumatic cylinder. Once the bag is slit and powder is discharged to the hopper below, the empty bag is then discharged to a trolley in the basement through a pneumatically operated door.
