| Mumbai-based polyquip offers pressure leaf filters. The special feature with this pressure leaf filter are high efficiency filtration equipments with hermetically sealed design which make it suitable for various applications includes chemical, pharmaceutical, dyes, paper, sugar and allied industries. These can easily become a better choice over plate and frame filtration due to technical and commercial advantages. The filters are compact, clean, leakage-free, lightweight, low cost filtration equipment. They are used for volatile mother liquor, filtration cum distillation operations and high temperature applications. The units can be insulated to avoid heat loss or can be jacketed to maintain higher operating temperature. The filtrate comes out under pressure and can be directly transferred without the help of the transfer pump. There is a minimum liquid content in the cake, due to high pressure. Pressure leaf filters are available in ms and ss construction with suitable filter clothes, available up to 20 m2 filtration area. The company also offers multiple effect evaporation plants, material handling systems, horizontal and vertical process pumps in pp/pvdf.
