These rotary gear pumps are available in all stainless steel, simple four-piece construction specially designed to handle thinner or thicker and even corrosive liquid having lesser or no lubricating value. The ss-316 herring bone rotors run on teflon-coated dry running du bush bearing, supported on bronze wearing plate, placed inside the pump casing, alternatively graphite/bronze wearing plate-cum-bushes can also be provided for thicker viscous liquid application. The stuffing box is fitted with z-pack sealant with provision to fit mechanical shaft seal. These pumps are provided with add-on type pressure relief valve. The ftms pumps are used for handling thinner liquid at moderate pressurizing, viz, foam pressurizing application for fire fighting, high pressure coolant transfer application for machine tools, light fuel pressurizing application for boiler and burners, heavy viscous liquid transfer application, such as molasses, magma, soap stock, tar, bitumen, paints, varnish, crude oil, sludge, sulphited sugar juice, industrial wastes, vegetable oil, printing ink, petroleum jelly, resins, alum, black liquor, coating mix, gum sludge, emulsion, flocculants, grout mix, latex, massecuite, viscose, spent wash, paper pulp, etc. |
