| Quantum technologies is a distributor of synthetic grease manufactured by sentinel [usa]. The non-toxic grease is formulated with acceptable materials for use in food handling and processing equipments. With growing automation in food processing, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, the demand for non toxic greases is increasing day by day. Besides non toxicity, such greases must withstand high temperatures as well as the chemicals used in these industries for cleaning of machinery. Salient features of non-toxic grease from quantum technologies: this grease complies with fda regulation title 21, cfr 178.3570. It has no drop point and has continuous operating temperature range of17.8°c to 204°c. Water, steam, cleaning chemicals used in food processing plants have little or no effect on the lubricating properties of safe bearing gel. The grease does not mix with beer, alcohol, beverages, salt, starches, jellies, sugar and flour. Temperature parameters related to the non-toxic grease: for the applications where continuous operating temperature exceeds 260°c, pyro safe bearing gel is recommended. Maximum working temperature of this grease should be considered to be 425°c, however, higher temperatures up to 540°c on an intermittent basis are acceptable. For extremely low temperatures, cryogenic safe bearing gel is recommended.
