| Crane control equipments supplies rotary geared limit switch to be used on control/power circuit of reversing drives so as to limit their rotation/movement within a predetermined position. The limit switch`s function is to stop the mechanism of the drive at the extreme forward/reverse positions. These cce rotary geared limit switches are ideal for use on reversing drives such as hoists, winches, rolling mills and various other mechanisms used in steel plants such as coke ovens, feeding machinery, valve drives, etc. The contacts of the cce rotary geared limit switches are 40 a rated at 500 v acand they can also be provided with 2 nc contacts or 4 nc contacts or [2 no + 2 nc] contacts as per the requirement. This cce limit switch is basically fitted with heavy-duty worm gear drive with a ratio of 48:1 or [60: 1]. The rotary geared limit switches are also made in ip 54 enclosure with cast aluminium cover. The base and cover of the switches have machined surface to offer protection against dust. The cam shaft, which extends from behind the gear into the sheet steel covering contains the cams. 2 or 4 cams are used for shunt and series limit switch.
