| A metal detector is offered by technofour control systems. This metal detector is a totally solid state electronic instrument intended for long term stable and continuous operation in industrial environment. This metal detector has been manufactured to detect ferrous and nonferrous metals as well as non-magnetic stainless steel. This metal detector has some technical features which include: works on the electromagnetic induction principle and has been provided with unique features like electronic automatic balance control and dual channel phase-sensitive detection, eliminating the need for periodic adjustments by the operator. This ensures optimum performance of the instrument. This detector finds its applications in pharmaceutical, food processing, soap, rubber, chemical and petrochemical industries for detection of metal contamination and to protect the processing equipment from damage.Audio and visual indications indicate the presence of metal contamination. There is a provision for auto rejection of metal contaminated product or for stopping the conveyors for manual removal of the product.
