| Multifect test system is a multifrequency metal sorter for segregation of components, based on metallurgical parameters. They can be sorted fully automatically using a gate sorter and a suitable feeding mechanism. Typical applications are in segregation of bars according to alloy type; automatic segregation of bolts and bearing rollers according to hardness; segregation of forgings according to heat-treat conditions; segregation of gears according to case depth; segregation of carburized gudgeon pins according to core strength; and segregation of components like pins, bushes, rings and studs in a given range of hardness. Features include eight test frequencies in the range of 10 hz to 5 khz; modular design, fully solid state, and harmonic suppression done by a filter unit.
