Premium engineers provides air classifier. The basic use of this screenless equipment is for grading of fine powder into distinct grades from 60 mesh to 10 microns. This overcomes the problem of blinding of sieve opening experienced in conventional sieving equipment. The air classifier can be installed along with the pulveriser equipment in a closed circuit so that coarse particles can be refed for grinding. These air classifiers are manufactured with extensive care and engineering details. The rotor is dynamically balanced and gives trouble free operation for a long time. The material is fed through the top and distributed by a revolving distributor plate. The flow of air gives fluidisation of particles and the same are propelled to the inner cone by whizzer blades. Standard models can handle particles of 99% passing through 325 mesh. As per the requirement for finer classification equipment can be offered with necessary modification. Ac variable drive can be provided for different classification in grades. The basic advantages includes very compact size and no contamination of the powder because of lubricants.
