| Shridhan international manufactures horizontal float switch that is used to sense the level of liquid in storage and process tanks. From the side of the tank the switch is mounted horizontally and it has a pivoted float assembly with tailpiece at the end which holds a magnet. When the float moves up with liquid level the tailpiece moves down and vice-versa. The magnet in the tailpiece, following the principle of repulsion, pushes a magnet present inside the float switch enclosure [body]. Then that magnet operates a micro -switch present inside the float switch body. Thus repulsive principle makes or breaks the micro switch by snap action and it guarantees longer life of contacts and are extremely reliable. The float switch is suitable for fixing on the nozzle with studs/bolts and nuts. All the wetted parts of the float switch are made of ss 304 but for acids, alkalies and food grade liquids, parts made of ss 316 can be furnished. The switch is available with a standard pivoted float assembly length of 220 mm, which can be increased with extension rod for installation on long nozzles. The float switch can also be supplied with bent extension rod and adjustable differential for special applications.
