| New grand engg. Corpn has launched grand brake drum couplings which serve the dual purpose of a flexible coupling transmitting mechanical power as well as providing brake drum of suitable size for mounting the brake within the same space. The brake drum coupling can be used with all kinds of brakes with shoes, electromagnetic, thrustor, hand or any other electrical, mechanical or manual brakes. The material used in the brake drum coupling is high grade cast iron. The power is transmitted from one half to other through steel pins precision machines and passing through specially bonded rubber bushes. The elastic properties of rubber bushes enable the coupling to take shock loads, torsional vibrations and misalignments.
