Operation and features of the capstan lathe machine: the to and fro motion drive of carriage is effected by a capstan wheel provided with a vernier graduated in millimeters or inches. Back-geared gearbox is provided in the cabinet and v-belt transition to spindle for smooth running of both actions with one lever at a time. Specifications: the machine is fitted with two-speed motor; the speed can be obtained at time 50 to 3000 rpm. Machines are available in five different sizes of 32, 38, 42, 50 and 60 mm.
