| Madhukar engineering components supplies unit vices. These are best suited on cnc machining centres, conventional milling machines and also on surface grinders. The vice is basically constructed from three different parts namely base, moving jaw unit and fixed jaw. Any number of bases, and jaw units can be combined to hold workpieces of different configurations and any size. Three units are usable to make a chuck for a vertical lathe for example. All the members manufactured from tool steel, appropriately hardened and treated. The wedging action incorporated in the moving jaw provides heavy grip, prevents lifting of job and enables quick releasing. As jaws are mounted on serrations ground on the surface of the base, positive locking and fast setup is assured. Vices can be offered with swivel base, sine base premounted. Pallets mounted with a number of these vices can be offered in different sizes.
