Various technical features are provided by this electro device include: 58 pre-set measurement ranges for the most common cable type and 87 variable measurement ranges for user specific cable types. The cable length can be measured up to 2000 m long with temperature compensation facility for accurate measurement results. The instrument has rs232 interface for data output on computer. The wire with cross sectional range from 0.05 to 500 mm squares can be measured in this instrument. These echometers provide some following constructional features like: fast, easy and accurate measurement of cable or conductor length. One has to simply connect the two clamps of the cable/wire. After a second, the cable length is displayed on the digital lcd. The instrument is also equipped with a selection switch for copper or aluminium cables. The optional windows environment software is useful in administration and reporting stored values through pc interface.
