Static Eliminator Ionizer unit is wall-mounted for a large coverage of the work area or fixed over an entrance doorway to neutralize the charges on personnel or on any item entering an ESD sensitive area. This is achieved with a stream of ionized air. "Ion Showering" is the only effective method of removing static charges from non-conductive objects and surfaces.

Static Eliminator Ionizer is available in 2 models Standard [Z 208] and Self-Balancing [Z 209]. The latter has special circuitry to ensure an accurate balance in output of negative and positive ions. This is essential to ensure that no net charge is induced by the ion shower. Balance is maintained irrespective of supply voltage and even if the discharge electrodes are dirty. Balanced output is essential when used in very critical ESD sensitive areas.
