| Zeebeetronics manufactures voltrip, an electrical safety device designed to constantly monitor the incoming power and to instantly disconnect the mains if the supply exceeds 270 v. When the voltage returns to normal, it automatically reconnects the supply after a 3 second delay. Instead of the normal 230 v, the supply in certain types of faults like neutral breaks can shoot up, the voltage causing severe damage to electrical and electronics equipment and also pose a fire hazard. The device can be connected on any incoming single phase line and is available in 2 models of 1 kva and 5 kva rating. The 1 kva model also has a built-in spike arrestor. Both models have a test button to check the device, even when the voltage is normal.
