| Sandvik asia ltd. Supplies a new welding wire [improved] for joining super duplex stainless steels through gas metal arc [mig] welding process. The welding wire has been manufactired to extend the applications available in the onshore and offshore oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical industries for super duplex stainless steels such as its own saf2507 [uns s32750] grade. Product development involving refinements to the steel melting process paved the way for the new welding consumable, a variant of sandvik 25.10.4.L, which is now available for mig welding with excellent weld ability and weld deposit properties. Therefore, fabricators and other end users can be benefited from welding super duplex stainless steels such as saf 2507 [uns s32750], zeron 100 [uns s32760] and uranus 52n + [uns s32550] with the help of cost effective mig process. Besides, the new sandvik 25.10.4.L is a distinguished consumable for welding modified 13% chrome, super martensitic stainless steel. The welding wire is specially corrosion resistant, and has a high resistance to pitting and good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in sulphur bearing environments.
