| Lakshmi machine works has launched a tap drill centre, smash 30. This is a drill tap center with capabilities in milling, boring, drilling, tapping, reaming, etc. It has a bt30 spindle driven by a 3.7/5.5 kw motor with spindle speeds up to 8000 rpm. The 10-station tool carousal allows random selection of tools. Features: high quality production - close-grained cast iron rigid structure and highly responsive feed mechanism and high friction lm guides provide excellent component accuracies; high speed material removal - the spindle allows rapid material removal in drilling, tapping, milling, boring, etc; unmatched ease of operation - free access to the working area and overall ergonomics ensure ample ease of operation; and outstanding engineering support - backed up by extensive training, application engineering and closely involved after sales service support. Other specifications: table size - 600 x 350; axes traverse [x x y x z] - 450 x 350 x 250;distance - spindle center column - 385 mm; distance, spindle nose table - 200; max weight on table - 200 kg; rapid traverse rate x, y and z - 24 and 15; and cnc system fanuc.
