| Quanix series of coating thickness gauges developed by automation, germany an iso-9000 companyaccumet products provides coating thickness gaugas. These gauges have many supe- rior features. Unlike other coating thickness gauges, these gauges do not needrequire any calibration like other gauges need. These gaugesthey have built-in probes with non-wearing ruby tip to ensure extra long life and precision even under rough conditions. V-grooves of the coating thickness gauges are is givenprovided on these probes for cylindrical components. There are no plugs, cables and sockets to cause service problems in these gauges. The display comes on automati- cally when measurement is taken and goes off automatically after few seconds of non use. The coating thickness gauges are very extremely light weight [130 gm including battery] and compact for carrying out for field use. Quanix 1500 has an extra long range of 5000 um [5 mm] and . Dual probes and read outs for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This makes it a 4-in-1 instrument, at much lower cost.
