| Quanix series of coating thickness gauges from automation, germany, an iso-9000 company, have many superior features. These gauges do not require any calibration. They have built-in probes with non-wearing ruby tip to ensure extra long life and precision even under rough conditions. V-groove is provided in the probe for cylindrical components. It does not have any plugs, cables and sockets to cause service problems. The display comes on automatically when measurement is taken and goes off automatically after a few seconds on non-use. This gauge weighs only 130 g including battery. Quanix 1500 has extra long range of 5,000 mm [5 mm] and dual probes and readouts for ferrous and norr-ferrous materials. This makes it a 4 in 1 instrument at a much lower cost. Quanix 1200 is with a single built-in probe for ferrous base materials and has a range of 0-2,000 mm [2 mm]. Both quanix 1500 and 1200 have resolution ranging from 0.1mm [0.0001 mm] to 0.01 mm as per the measuring range. These gauges are supplied in a strong leather case embedded with zero plates.
