| Valves used in dosing pumps and automated plants need precise operation system. Micro conelec industries offers a micro-controller based motor-controller for fine control of valve opening. The core of the motor controller system for valve actuator
Is embedded software, running on the micro controller chip. The control is achieved by precise positioning, obtained through ac synchronous motor coupled to the valve. The instant start-stop-reverse characteristics of these motors are fully utilised by the control software to achieve the required accuracy. The motor controller system for valve actuator accepts analogue input signal of 4-20 ma or 0-5 v dc. The valve is opened or closed in proportion to the amplitude of the signal. The system remembers the current position and moves to the new position corresponding to the latest signal amplitude. The system has 4-digit, 7-segment led display, which continuously displays the current percentage of valve opening. In manual mode, the system allows the user to set the percentage and thereby control the valve opening. In manual mode the motor controller system for valve actuator allows the user to determine the percentage and thereby control the valve opening. Home position push-button allows the user to calibrate the motor controller system for valve actuator by ascertaining completely closed condition of the valve.
