Valves loaded on the input track are automatically delivered to the output track after hardening. The machine can be integrated in a cell, receiving valves from the preceding machine and delivering them to the next operation. Process-accepted parts are delivered to output track and rejected parts are automatically diverted to rejection bin. It is totally operator-free. `through` hardening of stem ends can be completed with a capability to process 700 valves/hour. Hardening of stem ends and seats can be completed in one loading and it is capable of processing 350 parts/hour. `pattern` hardening of stem ends with capability to process 600 valves/hour. Machines with an output of 1500 parts/hour for `through` hardening of stems are available with a different feed mechanism.
